Our Journey

My dad, Tom, was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma on his ear. It was the wake-up call that started everything.

The tops of the ears are the third most common place men over 55 develop skin cancer, yet almost no one thinks to protect them. Baseball caps shield your face, but leave your ears completely exposed.

That's why we created E.A.R.S. Sun Gear, a lightweight, clip-on solution that attaches to any baseball hat, protecting one of the most overlooked spots without changing the way you wear your hat.

Customer Experiences

I got some chuckles when my friends saw my Ear Sun Gear for the first time. They're not laughing anymore!! We all wear them when we're fishing now. I guess I got the last laugh!! Be safe on the water my fellow anglers!

As someone who loves being outdoors and playing sports, I always wear my favorite baseball hat when I'm out. I never even think about my ears until after a long round of golf—that was a mistake! I saw a guy in the foursome in front of us with something I've never seen before. He actually gave me a set! Check out Ear Sun Gear!!

I'm a huge Dodgers fan, been to more games than i can count. This last pre-season in Arizona, I saw a guy wearing something on his hat. Well turns out the guy had some basal cell carcinoma on his ear. He found this cool product Ear Sun Gear online. Guess who wears and shares now! Me. I'm not taking chances anymore because I had crispy ears in the past. Thanks ESG!
